The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets played a physical contest in Week 14.
The Bills (10-3) won on the scoreboard against the Jets (7-6) and most would agree in the physical battle as well.
Much of that has to do with quarterback Mike White. Before heading back to New York, White took a trip to a local hospital to get looked at.
However, Garrett Wilson was part of the Jets’ physical beating in Orchard Park.
And Wilson might have a point some complaints he had.
Following the 20-12 final, Wilson took to his social media account on Twitter. He was upset about a hit Buffalo safety Jordan Poyer placed on him.
Wilson sent out a message that said he “ain’t got a call all season.”
While Buffalo does not consistently follow the Jets like they do the Bills, we’ll have to take Wilson’s word. What we can confirm is the hit from Poyer which can be found below:
I ain’t got a call all season… one ref told me “this ain’t O State no more.” Crazy 🤦♂️ https://t.co/KquD2oslfU

Its not the best angle, but Wilson’s response to the play is one many in Buffalo would have if the tables were turned.
Poyer is not a dirty player, he was just going with the flow of the game. It’s hard to argue that Wilson was not going to go out of bounds, though. He clearly was trying to slow down as he approached the sideline after the catch.
But Wilson should fall into the “no harm, no foul” category for Buffalo. He had nothing bad to say about Poyer.
Instead, his frustration were aimed at the referees, which is fair.
