Jets coach Jeff Ulbrich fumbles challenge flag, allowing Aaron Rodgers to throw TD pass

The Jets wound up with a touchdown and two-point conversion in a strange series of events

Things may finally be going the way of the New York Jets. At least for one play on Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers they did.

Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich was trying to challenge the previous play. As he went to throw the red challenge flag, it dropped. Call it a fumble.

Because Ulbrich lost control of the flag, Aaron Rodgers went ahead with the play and threw a TD pass to Tyler Conklin.

On the ensuing PAT, Minkah Fitzpatrick was called for leverage, and Ulbrich decided to go for two.

It worked, also, as Rodgers connected with Garrett Wilson to give the Jets a 15-6 lead in the second quarter.
