The New England Patriots will have their hands full on the other side of the bye week with a vengeful New York Jets team hoping to repay the favor for the Week 8 loss at MetLife Stadium.
One Jets player clearly looking forward to the meeting the most is brash rookie cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner.
Following a stunning upset victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the No. 4 overall pick of the 2022 NFL draft appeared hell-bent on getting even with the Patriots, who have put together back-to-back wins to climb back over .500 win percentage.
Even with the game slated to take place at Gillette Stadium, Gardner has it circled in red with the utmost anticipation.

The win over the Bills moved the Jets to 6-3 on the season, while the Patriots are sitting at 5-4. It’s clear this isn’t the same Jets team from previous years, and the AFC East as a whole just might be the best division in football.
But bad things have typically happened whenever Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is under center against a Bill Belichick-coached defense. In just three meetings, he has thrown seven interceptions and been sacked seven times.
Another defensive battle for the ages could be on the horizon for both teams in Week 11.
