Rutgers basketball landed a program-changing commitment on Wednesday afternoon from five-star guard Dylan Harper. The top player in New Jersey, Harper changes the dynamic of the Scarlet Knights, forming an incredible tandem with five-star forward Airious ‘Ace’ Bailey.
The top player in New Jersey, Harper is now the highest-ranked player to commit to Rutgers basketball in program history. According to ESPN, Harper is the top guard in the nation and the second-best overall player in the class of 2024.
He made his decision from a final five that also included Duke, Auburn, Kansas, and Indiana.
He joins a deep and talented 2024 recruit
Coming into this week, Rutgers had the No. 11 recruiting class in the nation according to 247Sports.
