Brown was one of the most important parts of Boston’s win over Brooklyn.

Star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown had himself one of his best playoff series yet of his career against the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the 2022 Eastern Conference NBA playoffs, putting impressive numbers while helping his team to sweep the preseason title favorites in the process.

Brown put up an impressive 22.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game over an average of 38.7 minutes played per game, fouling just twice per game and turning the ball over 2.5 times per contest. The Georgia native shot 49.3% from the field, and 77.8% from the free-throw line, but saw his 3-point efficiency held to just 21.1% in the series.

Still Brown managed to be a major contributor for the Celtics in the series as their second-highest scorer against the Nets.
