Jaylen Brown caught fire, surging the Boston Celtics past the Orlando Magic

Brown played a pivotal role in the win, scoring 31 points, with 17 of those coming in a crucial fourth-quarter stretch.

The Boston Celtics continued their impressive play of late with a 114-97 victory over the Orlando Magic at TD Garden this past Sunday afternoon, securing a 5-0 record in a recent home stand of as many contests. Star forward Jaylen Brown played a pivotal role in the win, scoring 31 points, with 17 of those coming in a crucial fourth-quarter stretch.

The Celtics’ success against the Magic extended beyond offense in the win, as their defensive efforts and team cohesion were critical throughout the game vs. a plucky Orlando squad that made multiple runs at trying to take control of the game, only to see Boston’s clamps shut them down.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine joined Amina Smith to talk over the win and Boston’s excellent play in recent contests on the network’s “Postgame Live” show.
