Jaylen Brown, brother release their own quarantine-inspired video

Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown and his brother Quenton released their own quarantine-inspired video on Mother’s Day.

Boston Celtics veteran guard Marcus Smart isn’t the only person on his team putting out quarantine-themed tunes this week.

Teammate Jaylen Brown and his brother Quenton made a little ditty for mother’s day that is mostly (we think) in jest…but apart from a little off-key crooning, is actually pretty good at moments, and funny too.

The lack of mobility afforded us by the viral pandemic is pulling all kinds of creative ventures out of the dusty cobwebs of our talents, and it seems the Cal-Berkeley product has been no exception, adding R & B singer and rapper to his rapidly expanding repertoire.

Holed up in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area, the duo may have been inspired by the musings of Smart and childhood friend Trey Davis, who put out a mumble rap track of their own this week.

Watch the video shared by team reporter Taylor Snow for yourself; it might just inspire you to try your hand at some COVID-19 inspired music as well.
