Jayden Daniels has taken the NFL by storm in 2024. The Washington Commanders rookie quarterback has been the runaway favorite for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award all season. Over the last two weeks, Daniels led come-from-behind wins with last-second touchdown passes to defeat the Eagles and Falcons.
With Sunday’s win, Washington clinched a playoff berth, completing a miraculous one-year turnaround. The Commanders were 4-13 last season and are 11-5 in 2024 with one game remaining.
Daniels has led the way, becoming one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks — as a rookie. He’s broken numerous team and NFL records and has reinvigorated Washington’s fan base. His jersey is one of the NFL’s top sellers and is everywhere at Northwest Stadium on game day.
So, it’s no surprise that Daniels was popular in Pro Bowl voting. Voting ended for the Pro Bowl this week, and Daniels finished No. 3 in the NFL behind Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs. We know why Kelce finished atop the Pro Bowl voting, and Daniels still finished with only 10,000 fewer votes.
These guys crushed the ballots 📈🗳️

Daniels wasn’t the only Commanders who finished high in Pro Bowl voting. In fact, 10 other Commanders finished inside the top five of their respective positions in Pro Bowl voting.
Here’s the full list:
- QB Jayden Daniels: 1st
- C Tyler Biadasz: 2nd
- G Sam Cosmi: 3rd
- WR Terry McLaurin: 4th
- ILB Bobby Wagner: 1st
- OLBs: Frankie Luvu (4th) and Dante Fowler Jr. (5th)
- SS Jeremy Chinn: 4th
- LS Tyler Ott: 2nd
- P Tress Way: 2nd
- ST Jeremy Reaves: 2nd
Sure, this is fan voting, but with Washington’s success this season, multiple players will go to the Pro Bowl. Luvu is quietly having one of the better seasons of any linebacker in the NFL, while Fowler has 10.5 sacks. Wagner again leads the NFL in tackles, while McLaurin is among the NFL leaders in touchdown receptions.
