The Philadelphia Eagles have the top offensive line in football and they are anchored by the best center in the game.
Jason Kelce is a Pro Bowler, an All-Pro, and a guy who is aware that his time is running down in the NFL. Kelce has previously documented all the injuries he’s played through and made it clear that he’s playing on a year-to-year basis at this point.
During a zoom media call with Eagles media, Kelce addressed the retirement rumors and made it clear that we would all know when he’s walking away because it’ll be a loud, emphatic statement.
Jason Kelce: "When I decide to retire, you guys will know. It will be a loud and emphatic statement. …It would happen…before free agency, before the draft. It wouldn't be sprung on out of nowhere."
…Said he knew early on he would play another year and team knew.

Kelce vowed to make an announcement before free agency begins so that the #Eagles will have time to prepare for the future of the Center position and he won’t be making any surprise or shocking announcements.
