Jaren Jackson Jr. has had a rocky start to his NBA career. After he was drafted No. 4 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies, Jackson has looked phenomenal on the court… when healthy. Last season, the former Spartan was sidelined almost the entire year with a leg injury and didn’t look like himself upon returning. Now, NBA general managers seem to think he is ready to finally make a leap into stardom.

NBA GM’s around the league participated in an anonymous survey this week, and Jackson was named the No. 1 breakout candidate in the NBA going into this season. That’s a strong show of confidence for the former Michigan State standout.
