Former Michigan State star Jaren Jackson Jr. has already won the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award once, but he’s making another strong push for it this season.
On Friday, it was announced that Jackson Jr. has been named the Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month.
In the month of December, Jackson Jr. was the only player in the NBA to accumulate 20 steals and 20 blocks in the month, which earned him the award.
