Jameis Winston has established himself as the most polarizing quarterback in the NFL in 2019, as he leads the league in both passing yards and interceptions, and only trails Lamar Jackson in passing touchdowns. He began a Week 16 game against the Texans on Saturday needing six more picks to finish the year with an unreal 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions – and Winston only needed a few seconds to add to his total.
On the very first Bucs passing play of the game, Winston’s pass to the left sideline was undercut and intercepted by Bradley Roby, who was able to walk into the endzone for a first-minute touchdown.

On the very next drive, the Texans picked off Winston again, and had a second pick-six wiped off the board due to an illegal blindside block.

As our own Steven Ruiz explained earlier this week, Winston’s ability to bounce back from all of his turnovers and consistently produce big plays for the Bucs all season long means he’s still a valuable asset as a quarterback. After two picks in less than two minutes, though, NFL Twitter couldn’t help but laugh.
Jameis Winston is perfectly predictable. He never lets us down.

Jameis Winston has now tied Peyton Manning’s single-season @NFL record (since 1970) with his 6th pick-6 this season.

That's sixth time this season Jameis Winston has been intercepted on the opening drive, fourth time on his first throw. Amazingly, Bucs are 4-1 in previous five such games.

Jameis Winston will now have 500 yards and four TD passes.

Jameis joins the 30-25 Club… and what a club it is! Still has an outside shot now creating the 30-30 Club, he’s at 30/26 with nearly 8 quarters to go. pic.twitter.com/9MH4lJzxoy
