There wasn’t much doubt, but after his pro day workout Wednesday, it sure looks like LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase is still the best wide receiver prospect in the 2021 NFL draft.
After opting out of the 2020 college football season, Chase reminded pro scouts of his impressive combination of size, speed and athleticism at Wednesday’s workout.
While a case can be made for other pass-catchers to come off the board first (Florida’s Kyle Pitts, Alabama’s DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle), Chase is the most complete player in this year’s wide receiver class.
