Jamal Adams stated that he has been limited since the Seattle Seahawks’ Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Rams because of a shoulder injury he suffered early in the contest.
Adams told reporters Friday via Zoom that his injury has been a challenge, but his rehabilitation is improving and that opposing teams should be extremely wary because of it.
“The quick turnaround was very tough playing with one arm, dealing with a shoulder injury,” he said. “But it’s getting better and that’s the scary part. So watch out.”
Adams has been one of the key components of the Seahawks defense this year, leading the unit in sacks with 5.5 in six games. Injuries have kept him out, but he has often been a difference-maker on the field, which is what the Seahawks were hoping for when they acquired him for the hefty price of two first-round picks.
The news that Adams is recovering from his injury is assuring, given that Seattle has lost quite a few playmakers to injuries this season. The Seahawks will face what should be a relatively easy stretch of teams through Week 15.
“It’s OK,” Adams said. “It’s whatever it takes.”
