Redshirt-freshman defensive back Jalyn Armour-Davis has officially announced his intention to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
Armour-Davis spent three seasons on the Crimson Tide roster as a cornerback. This season was his best, statistically, with four passes defended, three interceptions and 35 total tackles.
At 6-1 and 192 pounds, Armour-Davis sports an NFL-ready frame at the cornerback position. The defender has the size to play on the outside at the next level. Furthermore, he has impressive relative length, which can be more important than height.
As a former 100m state champion, Armour-Davis can run with the fastest of WRs.
While plagued with injuries for two seasons during his career, I wouldn’t expect injuries to be a lingering issue for Armour-Davis as he makes his jump to the next level.
He announced his decision via his official Twitter account.
