The Los Angeles Lakers will play their final game of the 2023 NBA Summer League on Sunday when they face the Los Angeles Clippers in Las Vegas.

They looked good in the first two contests of summer league play, defeating the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets. But they have lost both of their last two contests, falling to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday and the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

Two of the Lakers’ most intriguing players this summer have been guards Jalen Hood-Schifino and Max Christie. Unfortunately, neither will play on Sunday due to a right groin strain and a right hip strain, respectively.

Their absences will give Damion Baugh and Maxwell Lewis a chance to flash their potential while playing more minutes.
