Jaguars vs. Packers injury report for Thursday: Wingard upgraded to full participation

The Jags could be on their way to getting Andrew Wingard back, who is one of their best special teamers.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a few changes to their injury report with the most notable occurring for tight end Tyler Eifert (neck) and safety Andrew Wingard (core muscle), who were both upgraded to full participation.

Center Brandon Linder (back), was also upgraded from non-participation on Wednesday to limited while receiver DJ Chark and left tackle Cam Robinson were added to the report for an illness (not COVID-19 related) and knee injury, respectively. However, it’s worth noting that the Jags put Robinson on the injury report late last week for the same reason, but he was still able to suit up against Houston.

Wingard’s name has been the most important to watch because all of the other aforementioned names are expected to play, while his situation is to be determined. After going on injured reserve before Week 6’s game against the Detroit Lions, he was designated to return yesterday, which means the Jags have 20 days to activate him. With him going from limited to full participation, it appears that may be in the Jags’ plans before they head up to Green Bay to battle the Packers.
