Jaguars Twitter account trolls Steelers WR George Pickens

The Jaguars didn’t appreciate what George Pickens had to say about their pass defense.

Prior to Sunday’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver George Pickens took a not-so-subtle shot at the Jaguars defense, calling them a defense of ‘hope’ just handing billboard material to the Jaguars secondary. Something they took personally.

Fast-forward to Sunday’s game and not only do the Jaguars beat the Steelers 20-10 but they also held Pickens to a single catch for 22 yards. In fairness, it was a touchdown but in the big picture, it was meaningless.

After the game, the Jaguars official X account trolled Pickens with the image below pairing up the image of Pickens from the night he was drafted with the video of Jacksonville safety Andrew Wingard getting an interception with the caption “hope is a dangerous thing.”

We said at the time we didn’t like Pickens jawing about it mainly because the way he described the Jaguars defense 100 percent applied to the Steelers secondary as well.
