Jaguars inactives for Week 11 game vs. 49ers

There were no big surprises this week in terms of the Jags’ inactives. However, the Niners will be without RBs Elijah Mitchell and JaMycal Hasty.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have named five players to their inactives list for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. This week, there were no surprises, though the Niners, as expected, will be without running backs Elijah Mitchell and JaMycal Hasty.

Of the Jags inactives, only one player was on Week 11’s injury report and that was backup linebacker Dakota Allen. He injured his shoulder against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday and exited the game as a result. The staff then ruled him questionable to return.

Allen didn’t practice on Wednesday, but was limited on Thursday and Friday. With him out this week, Chapelle Russell is the player listed on the unofficial depth chart behind him.

Allen has played in nine games this season as a backup for the Jags and also started in one game (against the Miami Dolphins). Aside from that, he’s mostly taken snaps on the special teams units and currently has nine combined tackles to his name.
