The #Jaguars identified Urban Meyer as their top target from the start. He did have some talks with the #Chargers, but the focus was always on the Jags. No. 1 pick, plenty of cap space, endless draft picks… https://t.co/xfxCr9O7Ls

Trevor Lawrence and Urban Meyer in Jacksonville?
It sure looks like it, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are reporting that the former Ohio State and Florida head coach will be coming out of retirement to take the same position with the Jaguars, giving him his first shot at coaching at the NFL level.
As Rapoport points out, the Jags are loaded with tons of resources to help Meyer succeed, including plenty of premium draft picks and the most cap space in the entire league to spend this offseason.
While he found plenty of success at the college level, winning national championships with both the Buckeyes and Gators, it remains to be seen whether or not that success will translate to the next level.
