Jaguars downgrade their top cornerback to OUT vs. Browns

The Jaguars will be without their top defensive back.

Both the Cleveland Browns and the Jacksonville Jaguars are dealing with a great deal of injury trouble as they get set for their Week 15 matchup. The Browns have downgraded one player to out as right tackle Dawand Jones will not play, and the Jaguars have done the same. Now without their top cornerback, Tyson Campbell has been downgraded and will not play.

With the news that wide receiver Amari Cooper has cleared the concussion protocol and will play on Sunday, the Browns now get an immediate advantage on paper. While they have not announced who their starting quarterback will be, getting their top wide receiver back against a depleted Jacksonville secondary will give the Browns an area to target.

Can the Browns rebound after a two-game skid and beat the banged-up Jaguars? If so, they will take a firm hold on a wildcard spot and their first postseason birth since the 2020 season.
