Jaguars bring back two former players as practice squad additions

The Jaguars brought back two former players who were cut by the team in August.

The Jacksonville Jaguars brought back defensive lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter and outside linebacker Rashod Berry, adding both players to the practice squad Wednesday..

Ledbetter, 28, is a former Detroit Lions sixth-round pick who spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, and Arizona Cardinals before joining the Jaguars in November 2021. In August, he landed on Jacksonville’s injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. Less than two weeks later, he was released from the IR with an injury settlement.

Berry, 25, spent the first two seasons of his career with the New England Patriots and the Lions. He joined the Jaguars in May 2022, but was cut by the team at the end of training camp.

Jacksonville had two vacant practice squad spots after promoting defensive lineman Corey Peters to the active roster Wednesday and cutting defensive lineman Israel Antwine from the practice squad Tuesday. With the changes, the Jaguars’ current practice squad is as follows:
