The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t been favorited by oddsmakers since their Week 1 meeting against the Houston Texans and that will remain the case this week. According to Tipico Sports Book, they are currently 6.5 point underdogs to the San Francisco 49ers, who will be making the trip across the country after stunning the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football.
With a win at home against the Rams, the Niners improved their record to 4-5, giving them plenty of motivation to make it two in a row and hit the .500 mark. Meanwhile, the Jaguars will be coming off a heartbreaking loss in Indy where they moved to a 2-7 record.

Sunday’s game will mark the first meeting between the Niners and Jags since 2017 when the Jags went to the AFC Championship. However, this time around, it’s Kyle Shanahan and his crew that are the much more talented bunch.
Despite that, Week 11’s game is one that some fans of the Niners feel has trap game potential as the Jags have played some teams close that outweigh them when it comes to talent. Additionally, the Niners will have to handle their business on a short week of practice and a cross-country trip.
Regardless of what happens, it appears Sunday’s game could be a low-scoring one if Jacksonville’s defense continues to improve on a week-to-week basis after the bye. Both teams could also look to establish the run against one another as both will roll into the game with top-13 rushing attacks led by James Robinson and Elijah Mitchell.
