The Jaguars are coming off their second, and by far biggest, win of the season when they stunned the Buffalo Bills 9-6 at home in a Week 9 game that featured no touchdowns. They’ve now won two of their last three games but remain 31st in scoring and 23rd in yards gained.
The Colts crushed the New York Jets 45-30 on Thursday night last week, winning easily despite New York’s best efforts to make things interesting at the end. The Colts have won four of their last six after starting the year 0-3, including three of their last four against the Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers and Jets.

Money line
The Colts are the better team on paper and despite the Jaguars’ shocking win over the Bills, Indianapolis has a big edge in this game. It’s hard to imagine the Jags winning back-to-back games against quality opponents, especially against a Colts defensive front that could give them some trouble.
Bet the COLTS (-540) to win outright against their division foes.
Against the spread
The Colts have been good when it comes to covering the spread this season, going 6-3 ATS in nine games. The Jaguars are only 3-5 but all three of those covers have come in the last five weeks.
The Colts offense isn’t very good aside from running the ball with RB Jonathan Taylor so if Jacksonville can shut down that aspect of Indianapolis’ game plan — which is possible, considering the Jaguars are third in yards per carry allowed — the Colts will struggle to cover. Bet the JAGUARS +10.5 (-117) to cover the spread.
Over/Under
The total has only gone Over in two of the Jaguars’ first eight games of the season. The Colts have scored at least 30 points in each of their last four games but Jacksonville’s defense is coming off its best performance of the season.
