Jackson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 draft, is averaging 19.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.8 blocks in 33.3 minutes per game through four games with the Grizzlies’ G-League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle. And as the Hustle (4-0) prepare to face the South Bay Lakers at 7 p.m. Monday, his performance – and the ambition accompanying it – have been noticed. “He’s filling up the stat sheet, making an impact on the defensive end,” Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said Sunday. “(He is) wanting to take on the toughest matchups that we’re facing.”
