The New York Giants went into Sunday’s Week 4 matchup against the Saints in search of their first win of the season, and you only needed to see the overtime coin toss to know how pumped the Giants were to be in a position to win.
The Giants rallied from down 11 in the fourth quarter to force overtime with a late field goal. As the two captains met at midfield for the overtime coin toss, Giants safety Jabrill Peppers set New York up to take the opening possession with the most confident coin-toss call you’ll see this season. Peppers made his call by saying, “Heads, I’m confident.” And when he saw the coin land on heads, he let out a loud, “Boom!” He added an F-bomb while saying the Giants wanted the ball, which was hilariously picked up on the stadium (and broadcast) microphones.
But hey, all that confidence paid off because Saquon Barkley would find the end zone on that opening OT drive.
