It’s official! Four-star offensive lineman Chase Bisontis schedules Rutgers football official visit

Rutgers football will get an official visit from four-star offensive lineman Chase Bisontis in June.

It is official. Well, for Chase Bisontis at least. One of the premier recruits in the nation has scheduled his official visit to Rutgers football.

The top player in New Jersey for the class of 2023, Bisontis is a four-star offensive lineman and one of the most coveted offensive tackles in the nation. The Don Bosco Prep standout is currently at Texas A&M for the weekend and has a visit with Rutgers football planned in June.

RutgersWire has learned that Bisontis will take an official visit to Rutgers football on June 10. This comes after the Scarlet Knights made his top five programs that he released two weeks ago.

It is big news for Rutgers, who are now in play to keep the state’s top player in-state for consecutive years. Last season, Hun’s [autotag]Jacob Allen[/autotag] committed to Rutgers football in April.

Allen was a four-star offensive lineman who was selected to play in the All-American Bowl.

As for Bisontis, the news of his official visit represents a bit of a turnaround from his mindset a few days ago. In an interview where he broke down his top five programs, Bisontis said an official to Rutgers wasn’t a sure thing:

“I’m not sure yet about that one. Because I’ve been there so many times. I’m not sure about doing [an] unofficial or an official. I’m not sure yet, I’m still in the process of thinking that one out.”

Bisontis is ranked the No. 52 player in the nation according to ESPN.com.
