Isiah Harwell calls UNC his ‘dream school’ growing up

UNC basketball 2025 target Isiah Harwell calls Tar Heels his ‘dream school’ growing up.

2025 five-star prospect [autotag]Isiah Harwell[/autotag] is extremely high on the UNC basketball program. He was before his visit to Chapel Hill, and even more following his visit.

Harwell, who just debuted at No. 5 overall in the class of 2025 rankings for 247Sports. , received an offer from the Tar Heels while on his visit, solidifying the interest from both sides.

The five-star prospect is originally from Pocatello (Idaho.) Century, transferred to Wasatch Academy (UT) this summer.

While his recruitment is just getting started, the Tar Heels are involved and involved early. The also helps when he grew up a North Carolina fan.

“When that offer came in, I was just excited cause that was like my dream school growing up, so I was just lost for words,” Harwell told On3.com

Harwell currently has offers from programs like Arizona State, Kansas, Baylor, Creighton, Texas, Texas Tech, and UCLA among others.

He is currently the only class of 2025 offer out for North Carolina and head coach Hubert Davis.

“It’s just like a loving program,” Harwell said. “Everybody is so welcoming. It feels like it’s just like a welcome program… It’s just the way they played and just their rivalry with Duke. My two older brothers had a thing for Duke, so I was all for UNC.”

Harwell also recently visited Duke, but does not have an offer from the Blue Devils.
