Is Texas the new favorite to land Pitt transfer wide receiver Jordan Addison?

The Longhorns appear to be in prime position to land the Biletnikoff winner.

The Longhorns have been one of the most active programs in the transfer portal this offseason, and they may be on their way to adding another serious weapon on the offensive side of the ball.

Even after landing wide receivers Isaiah Neyor (Wyoming) and Agiye Hall (Alabama), Texas is looking to add another elite pass catcher to pair with Xavier Worthy.

Pitt wide receiver transfer and last year’s Biletnikoff winner, Jordan Addison, is on the market and apparently the Longhorns made a great impression on his official visit. College football and recruiting expert Mile Farrell even went as far to say that Addison to Texas is a safe bet.

If the Longhorns land Addison they easily would have the best arsenal of weapons in college football with their loaded stable of running backs, and three receivers in Worthy, Neyor, and Addison who all had 12 touchdown catches last season.

While Texas has continually missed out on defensive transfers, it seems as if the team is already preparing to outscore opposing teams every single week.

Texas will have to out-duel Lincoln Riley and USC for Addison’s services.
