After rolling off seven victories in a row, the Ohio State basketball team has done a u-turn and is going in the wrong direction. The Buckeyes dropped two more games this week to unranked Michigan State and No. 9 Iowa.
After a loss the previous week to No. 3 Michigan, the Buckeyes only fell one spot to No. 5. That wasn’t the case this week after the Bucks are struggling to find their winning ways once again. This week Ohio State tumbles to No. 10 in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports.
OSU let a winnable game slip away in East Lansing in the final minutes and looked uninspired against the Hawkeyes. Things don’t get any easier this week as No. 4 Illinois comes to Columbus on Saturday as the final regular-season game before post-season play begins.
A week to recoup will be nice, but the Buckeyes need to find a way to end this skid before the Big Ten tournament begins.
