Is Michigan football trending toward adding to 2024 class on Sunday?

Good news looks to be coming soon! #GoBlue

Michigan football quarterback commit Jadyn Davis may be getting some help soon, and if he does, it will be from a very familiar face.

2024 Charlotte (North Carolina) Providence Day four-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin is set to make his commitment on Sunday, and the Michigan legacy is teammates with the Wolverines’ five-star quarterback commit. Rated No. 241 overall according to 247Sports’ proprietary rankings, Goodwin appears to be choosing between the Wolverines and North Carolina Tar Heels. But analysts anticipate he’ll end up wearing maize and blue.

Though he already had four 247Sports crystal ball predictions indicating he will become a Wolverine, Goodwin gained two more this past week. National recruiting analyst Brian Dohn and NC State insider Michael Clark logged predictions for the maize and blue.

If Goodwin pledges, he will be the first wide receiver commitment of the cycle. Of course, the Wolverines are looking at several other big targets to add to the class, with the possibility it would add one or two more wideouts.

He is the son of former Michigan offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin.
