Is it fair to say Jayson Tatum’s better, and Jaylen Brown’s tougher?

The two Boston Celtics star wings find themselves stuck in some old debates, but are they unfair — or just missing the point?

What if we have been looking at the Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum’s tenure on the Boston Celtics the wrong way the whole time? Much of the narrative surrounding the two star forwards has been on whether they fit alongside each other, if they like each other, whether they are happy in Boston, or if they are planning to stick around long-term.

But maybe we ought to shift our thinking on the two in order to focus on what they complement each other with and encourage ways to use that synergy to ease the path to putting points on the board.

Is Jaylen Brown a little tougher and Jayson Tatum slightly more talented? And how might they change how they play to each other’s strengths?

The hosts of the “Athletic NBA Show” recently sat down to talk it out; check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about the Jays.
