Iron Lynx will take on the historic Rolex 24 at Daytona with a trio of Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2 entries across the GT Daytona Pro and GT Daytona classes, marking the beginning of the team’s second year of racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Iron Lynx will once again compete in the Endurance Cup rounds of the IMSA Sportscar Championship, beginning with the series’ biggest race of the year at Daytona International Speedway. That includes one entry in GTD PRO and two in GTD; one those being for the Iron Dames. At Daytona, the green No. 19 for GTD PRO will feature Lamborghini factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper and Andrea Caldarelli, joined by Franck Perera for Daytona. Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni will drive the yellow No. 60 Huracan in GTD, with two drivers to be named later. And the Iron Dames squad of Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy and Rahel Frey will pilot the pink No. 83 in GTD, with a fourth woman identified later to complete the all-female team.

“We are very excited to return to the United States, as we enjoyed racing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship very much this year,” said Iron Lynx Team Principal and CEO Andrea Piccini. “There, we found ourselves learning a completely different way of racing  with a paddock that made us feel very welcome. We are really looking forward to going back to start racing in 2024 with a great race such as the 24 Hours of Daytona with our three Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO 2 cars. The team will take a short and well-deserved break over December and we will be more than ready to hit the track once again.”

Iron Lynx will contest the five round that make up the Michelin Endurance Cup, which after Daytona are the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, The Battle on the Bricks six-hour race at Indianapolis, and Motul Petit Le Mans. At Sebring, Iron Lynx is expected to add its Lamborghini SC63 for the GTP category.
