Though that is not the official saying that we are all used to, I move to change the statement in honor of this Iowa Hawkeyes team. The Hawkeyes are one of the top-ranked teams in the nation this year with a 23-6 record (15-3 Big Ten), so naturally they were one of the best represented squads in this year’s Big Ten Conference honors.
The Big Ten conference announced their regular season awards on Tuesday, and there were plenty of Hawkeyes honored this time around. From a conference Player of the Year to two first-team All-Big Ten members, you could definitely say it was a successful season.
