The No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes are back in action this afternoon as they head to the Kohl Center looking to continue their incredible run of dominance over the Wisconsin Badgers.
Iowa (9-1) has beaten Wisconsin (5-3) 27 times in a row, including each of the last 14 meetings in Madison, Wis. The Badgers’ last win over the Hawkeyes was on Feb. 11, 2007.
Iowa enters having won six straight. The Hawkeyes used 35 points from star senior guard Caitlin Clark and 16 points from graduate guard Kate Martin to win at Iowa State on Wednesday, 67-58. The Cyclones grabbed a 55-54 lead with 4:30 remaining, but Iowa responded with a pair of assists from Clark to Martin and a bucket from Clark as well to separate.
Iowa came away with nine steals and five blocks as it limited Iowa State to just 34.4% field goal shooting.
