International prospect Killian Hayes has declared for the NBA Draft

Hayes has been touted as perhaps the top international prospect in the 2020 NBA Draft class.

International prospect Killian Hayes told ESPN reporter Jonathan Givony on Friday that he has filed the paperwork to declare for the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft.

Hayes, a native of France, has emerged as perhaps the top international prospect in the upcoming draft. He is currently playing with Ratiopharm Ulm of the Basketball Bundesliga, the top basketball league in Germany.

Hayes is averaging 11.6 points, 5.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 20 games played in Germany. He was named MVP of the U16 European Champion in 2017 with France.

The 6-foot-5 guard has been touted as a player with exceptional court vision and ability to get his teammates involved. Hayes has also proven to be able to create his own shot on the court. Hayes shot 39% from 3-point range in 10 EuroCup games and projects to be able to shoot at the next level.

Hayes is ranked fifth on the latest 2020 Rookie Wire NBA Draft Big Board.
