In-state offensive lineman commits to Tennessee

Tennessee Vols’ football recruiting news.

Tennessee has landed an in-state 2021 offensive lineman commitment.

Nicholas Edwards announced Thursday he will continue his academic and athletic career at Tennessee.

“After continuing conversation with Charlie High and Glen Elarbee, I have decided I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Tennessee,” Edwards said on Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman is from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Tennessee will kick off the 2021 season under first-year head coach Josh Heupel on Sept. 4. The Vols will host Bowling Green at Neyland Stadium.

Heupel was hired as head coach on Jan. 27 after a three-year stint in the same capacity at UCF.
