Austin Reaves makes things go on the road

When Oklahoma lost in Lubbock to Texas Tech last week, it seemed abundantly obvious that they missed Austin Reaves. Obviously, he quite arguably the best player on the team.

But, even more than that, he is the leader of the team and makes things go especially on the road. Reaves has shown over his career that he is more than capable of going into someone else’s gym and putting up big numbers.

Toward the end of the first half and then throughout the second half Reaves put this game on his shoulders. The Sooners will have find ways to get other guys going away from the Lloyd Noble Center in order to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, but as long as they have Reaves there they are going to still be mostly in good shape.
