Instant Analysis: LSU takes down Arkansas to win second-straight game

The Tigers have now won back-to-back games since the loss to Auburn.

The Tigers got another winning streak started on Sunday evening, beating Arkansas 99-68 as the offense exploded in a big win in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU shot nearly 50% for the game with [autotag]Mikaylah Williams[/autotag] and [autotag]Hailey Van Lith[/autotag] leading the way with 21 points and 20 points, respectively. [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] also had a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds.

The Tigers led by just nine after the first quarter, but they pulled away with a 30-12 showing in the second. The Razorbacks never got back in the game after that.

LSU dominated on the boards with a 60-35 margin. It had more turnovers (12) than Arkansas (7) but the Tigers had 14 points off those while the Razorbacks managed just six.

LSU will be back in action on Thursday night as it hosts No. 1 South Carolina with College GameDay in attendance.
