One of the cooler aspects of the evolution of football and broadcasting has been the behind-the-scenes looks of coaches and players before, after and during games. It makes those stars more relatable when we can see them in normal interactions and while they’re preparing for or decompressing from a tough battle.
This week, before the Miami Dolphins took on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, head coach Mike McDaniel was caught by the “Inside the NFL” crew speaking to referee Adrian Hill.
Every Mike McDaniel mic'd up clip is better than the last. 😅

McDaniel shares his admiration for the job that the officials have each week, as he knows just how challenging it can be. Hill stated the same right back to McDaniel regarding being a head coach.
There’s just something about McDaniel that makes him so likable. Everyone seems to gravitate toward him, and conversations will usually include a laugh or two at some point.
