Injury Update: Warriors’ Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) to be re-evaluated after road trip

Donte DiVincenzo’s hamstring injury is set to be re-evaluated when the Warriors return from their road trip.

The Golden State Warriors have been missing a piece off the bench during their first five-game road trip of the season. After suffering a hamstring injury against the Sacramento Kings, Donte DiVincenzo has been ruled out for the Warriors’ last four games and is set to miss more.

On Tuesday, the Warriors provided an update on DiVincenzo’s injury. After a recent re-evaluation, DiVincenzo is making “good progress” with his injury but will miss the remainder of Golden State’s road swing. According to the Warriors, DiVincenzo will be re-evaluated when the team returns from their road trip over the weekend.

The Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings on Monday at Chase Center before getting a four-day layoff between games. The Warriors won’t open the doors to Chase Center until next Friday for a contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Prior to suffering his injury, DiVincenzo averaged averaging five points on 45.5% shooting from the field in 14 minutes per contest through the first three games of the 2022-23 season.

Without DiVencenzo, the Warriors have leaned on players like Jordan Poole, Ty Jerome and Moses Moody.

After starting the trip 0-2, the Warriors have three games left on their road swing, with the next matchup coming tonight against the Miami Heat.
