During their first matchup in 2022, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is having nightmares with defensive end Demarcus Lawrence. Coming into the game, Lawrence hadn’t registered a pressure although his run-stopping efforts were strong as ever.
New York rookie Evan Neal has been tasked with Lawrence, and it’s been a forgettable night, being danced by for three sacks and even more pressures. After a dominant first half, Lawrence suffered a left foot injury early in the third quarter but reached the sideline on his own.

Lawrence has been dominant against the Giants and his value for the Cowboys defense goes without saying. If he’s unable to return, it’s a huge loss for Dallas but Micah Parsons, Dorance Armstrong and others will be tasked with boosting the production in his absence.
Update:
DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) is questionable to return. #Cowboys
Lawrence did walk off under his own power and without limping, but still being evaluated.
