Previous coverage:

A nightmare situation for the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Josh Allen is injured.

Trailing 20-17 in the fourth quarter against the Houston Texans in Week 5, Allen tried to make something happen in a hopeless situation as he always does.

On this occasion, a pass fell incomplete. But as Allen threw the ball on third down, he was tackled. His head hit the ground hard.

After declining to be looked at by medical staff, Allen was pulled into the medical tent on his team’s sideline.

On the ensuing drive, Allen did not go back in the game. Backup QB Mitchell Trubisky did.

Bills Wire will provide updates as information is made available.
