Injury Report: Warriors’ Klay Thompson (knee) probable for Tuesday’s game vs. Suns

After being a late scratch on Saturday before tip off due to knee soreness, Klay Thompson is listed as probable for Tuesday vs. the Suns.

After a wave of injuries that limited the Golden State Warriors’ rotation, players like Andrew Wiggins and Andre Iguodala have made their long-awaited return to the court.

Along with Wiggins and Iguodala, the Warriors recently got positive news regarding Steph Curry’s return from a shoulder subluxation injury. Following an 11-game absence, Curry is listed as probable for Tuesday’s contest against the Phoenix Suns.

Joining Curry with a probable status for Tuesday is fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson. The five-time All-Star guard was a late scratch for Saturday’s loss to the Orlando Magic. Thompson left the court before tipoff on Saturday and was ruled out for the game with left knee soreness.

After missing Saturday’s game against the Magic, Thompson is listed as probable for Tuesday against the Suns.

Prior to missing Saturday’s game against the Magic, Thompson has been on a tear. The veteran shooter had notched three straight games with 30 or more points, including a season-high 54 point performance against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Warriors are set to host the Suns on Tuesday night at Chase Center in San Francisco at 7 p.m. PT.
