Injury Report: Warriors’ James Wiseman (ankle) probable vs. Grizzlies on Wednesday

The former No. 2 overall could be nearing a return to the court.

After getting the recent returns of players like Andrew Wiggins, Steph Curry, JaMychal Green and Jonathan Kuminga, more reinforcements could be on the way for the Golden State Warriors.

Following an 11-game absence due to a sprained ankle, James Wiseman is listed as probable for Wednesday’s contest against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies.

In a presser on Tuesday, Steve Kerr told reporters that Wiseman practiced in full on Tuesday.

Wiseman initially suffered his sprained ankle in a scrimmage at practice. The former No. 2 overall pick last played against the Utah Jazz on Dec. 28. Prior to his injury, Wiseman played in seven consecutive games for the Warriors. During that span, the Memphis product recorded a 30-point effort in a loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
