Injury Report: Eric Paschall (knee soreness) out for second consecutive game vs. Mavs

Golden State Warriors forward Eric Paschall is slated to miss his second consecutive game against the Dallas Mavericks due to knee soreness.

After missing Thursday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks, Eric Paschall is slated to miss his second consecutive contest due to knee soreness on Saturday night.

Paschall will join injured rookie James Wiseman (sprained wrist) and veteran Kevon Looney (sprained ankle) on the sideline, giving the Golden State Warriors only nine active players against Luka Doncic and the Mavericks.

With a depleted depth chart, Steve Kerr opted to start Draymond Green and Juan Toscano-Anderson on the frontline in the first of a two-contest baseball series against Dallas.

Green registered a double-double with season-highs in points and assists, scoring 11 points and dishing 15 dimes during Golden State’s blowout 147-116 victory. Toscano-Anderson added 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field with eight boards and two steals in 40 minutes on Thursday.

With Paschall sidelined for part two against the Mavericks, the Warriors will need a similar performance from Kelly Oubre Jr. on Saturday night. Oubre Jr. recorded a career-high 40 points on 14-of-21 shooting from the field with eight rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in 36 minutes.

Along with Oubre Jr., Green and Toscano-Anderson, four other members of the Warriors scored in double figures, including Damion Lee (17 points) and Mychal Mulder (12 points) off the bench.

The Warriors are slated to close game two against the Mavericks at 5:30 p.m. PST on Saturday night.
