Infamous former Bengals player lands with Commanders

A well-known former Bengals player is on the move.

For Cincinnati Bengals fans, Bobby Hart is just one of those names that will always earn a shake of the head.

Hart was a focal point of a strange era for the team, to say the least. And he continues to bounce around the NFL after his post-Bengals days, this time landing on the Washington Commanders’ practice squad, according to the Washington Post’s Nicki Jhabvala.

A former seventh-round pick, Hart joined the Bengals in 2018 and started every game at right tackle, earning a 57.1 and a strange three-year extension from the Bengals. He went for a 57.6 grade the following year and was cut by March of 2021.

Since, Hart has bounced around with the Buffalo Bills (three times!) and other spots while the Bengals, after names like Riley Reiff and moving Jonah Willaims to the right side, have settled on first-rounder Amarius Mims.
