The Iowa Hawkeyes faced a tall task to knock off the Michigan Wolverines in the Big Ten Championship and it only took a few plays not going their way to turn things upside down in a hurry.

The Hawkeyes tried to tread water and did so pretty darn well defensively for a long time, but eventually, the dam broke and it became too much to overcome. The Wolverines did what top teams do and capitalized on the Hawkeyes’ mistakes by immediately turning them into touchdowns the other way.

Iowa was undermanned and ran into a Michigan team that is eyeing the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff and had everything to play for. It proved to be too much for Iowa to overcome as they fell to 10-3 on the year at the hands of the Wolverines, 26-0.
