The Kansas City Chiefs have an expected list of inactive players for their preseason Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

The preseason is a little different from the regular season in that players aren’t formally made inactive. They’re simply not expected to play, either due to injury or otherwise.

Here are the players who aren’t expected to play for the Chiefs:

  • DT Chris Jones
  • QB Patrick Mahomes
  • TE Travis Kelce
  • LB Nick Bolton
  • WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling
  • DT Tershawn Wharton
  • TE Jody Fortson
  • WR Kadarius Toney
  • CB L’Jarius Sneed
  • CB Nic Jones
  • OL Nick Allegretti
  • WR Nikko Remigio

Here are the Browns players who aren’t expected to play:

  • RB Nick Chubb
  • G Joel Bitonio
  • WR Anthony Schwartz
  • WR Mike Woods II
  • WR Jaelon Darden
  • WR Marquise Goodwin
  • CB Mike Ford Jr.
  • CB Cameron Mitchell
  • RB Jerome Ford
  • DE Isaiah Thomas
  • G Wes Martin
  • G Drew Forbes
  • TE Harrison Bryant
  • DE Alex Wright

Though both teams will be without multiple players for the preseason finale, the stakes remain low for this matchup. The Chiefs and Browns will look to gain more experience during this tilt as they move to set their regular season rosters.
