Offensive line
- While just a single position group of sorts, the Bills are keeping their starting offensive line pretty hush, especially on the right side and we see a few signs of the depth chart. Most notably, the Cody Ford to guard storyline continues with this one. On Roberts’ TD, we can correctly identify three guys on the offensive line. Mitch Morse is at center, while Ford is again inside at guard while the right tackle on this occasion is Ty Nsekhe. Both Ford and Nsekhe eat both of their pass rushers up on this play, too. Great pocket to throw from for Allen.
- Jon Feliciano is currently out and when he went down, the Bills signed Brian Winters. While expected to fill-in for Feliciano, that hasn’t been the case much, it appears. One photo does appear to give us some insight on Winters, though. We spot a photo of Matt Barkley on the team’s collage and can only really see one other player. Because of how close the two are, one would figure it’s probably the center or a guard. Based on some photo comparison, Winters looks like that other guy, so he’s running with the second-team O-line.
- As we mention Ford and Nsekhe, there’s also Daryl Williams to consider. In Singletary’s TD, Williams is out there. But we also see a picture of Williams blocking for Zack Moss next to Quinton Spain, indicating that this is Williams lining up with the starting O-line. Comparing that video and photo, there’s a chance that Williams is getting work on both the outside and inside of the offensive line as well. That’s just speculation because a picture is not worth a thousand words in this case, but Williams does have that versatility.
